The vaping epidemic has created an immediate resource crisis for school and agency social workers, administrators, counselors and support staff. This workshop is specifically designed so that you walk away with a skillset that you can immediately implement at your school or agency. All pertinent facts and fictions related to Electronic Nicotine Delivery Devices (ENDS) will be delivered in a dynamic, insightful, supportive fact-check approach, for beginners to advanced professionals. Alternatives to Suspension programming, directions for educational and fun group exercises, video clips, Power Point and handouts will be provided on a flash drive for your use. The skills learned in this workshop can be applied directly and immediately to practice.
INSTRUCTOR: John Martin, Public Health Educator who has designed and implemented health education seminars for professionals in diverse fields and has worked with Lifestage to deliver workplace wellness classes on Smoking Cessation and a range of other health-related topics for the past 7 years.
