featuring monologues and stories by Jude Treder-Wolff
that inspire improvised scenes by
Elana Fishbein, Rick Andrews, Jamie Rivera, Eleanor Lewis, Matt Shafeek

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING is a combination performance and entertaining webinar that features stories and monologues by therapist and writer/performer Jude Treder-Wolff (RISK! PBS Stories From The Stage, Story District, Whitefire Solo Theatre Festival) about the human comedy that is our relationship to change in a rapidly accelerating world and discussion of improv as a creative experience with true, documented benefits to mental and social health. True stories about working at a bereavement camp for teens, a “Face Your Fears” corporate retreat, and into some ordinary encounters that get inexplicably weird, and monologues about the impact of a rapidly accelerating world inspire hilarious improv scenes. This is improv that includes the very current and exciting scientific research into its psychological and social benefits, this is a mental health comedy mash-up showing how making things up together helps us deal with reality.

The improv is performed by some of New York's best improvisers from the faculty of the Magnet Theater in NYC: Elana Fishbein, Rick Andrews, Jamie Rivera, Matt Shafeek, and Eleanor Lewis.

This show provides 1.5 contact hours of CE for NYS Social Workers.
